Facebook Features
HOW TO: Use Facebook’s New Promote Feature?
Facebook has just introduced a new feature called Promote. It’s a paid facility with which you can promote posts and bump your important news, links, and photos higher in the news feed.
This feature is very simple and very promising for all the companies that are involved in Social Media Marketing. The payment for this service happens via Facebook credits, which you can earn or buy using real money.
All you have to do is publish a post on Facebook and click on Promote Link near share. The promoted post will be marked at the top of your news feed. This way, you do not have to share the same post again and again.
Facebook seems to be learning the lessons the hard way, but it’s a good way of increasing revenues for Facebook, and good NEWS even for Facebook shareholders.
People who do not want to avail this service have to make sure they understand the demographics of its fans and plan scheduled posts, but all this also involves cost, so why not use this simple feature instead?
Facebook updates its Photo Gallery, making it less boring
Facebook has updated its Photo Gallery with a better-looking layout and a more intuitive user interface. Facebook’s last update was highly criticized, but things look a little better now.
The features create equally-sized thumbnails of each photo in your photo album, and look good if you have a good album to look upon. Also, the photo navigation has slightly improved.
TIP:
I am not sure if you are aware of this trick, but you can use the keyboard arrow keys to scroll through your photos in a particular album instead of using your mouse and clicking next or previous to navigate.
Facebook Introduces Similies now in Comments.
So, finally, the missing feature of smile has arrived on Facebook. Not yet available on Facebook’s Apps on Android and iOS, but with a new update, we will start seeing them there as well. So make sure you do update the latest App update with similes.
So, in case you want to have a look at all the similes available for Facebook usage, here is the list.

Facebook Cover Design Tips and FAQs!
Facebook introduced the cover feature a long time ago. Facebook Cover has to be as eye-catching as possible, and there are certain basic tips and tricks related to designing Facebook cover that I would love to discuss here.
Dimension
Facebook cover has to be typically 851 X 315 pixels in dimension.
What will happen if you upload smaller images as Facebook Cover?
Well, they will be stretched.
What will happen if you upload larger images?
Well, it will be cropped. However, Facebook will give you the option to crop it as per your wish.
What is the Minimum Dimension acceptable as a Facebook cover?
At least 39399 pixels on the side and less than 852 pixels.
How to get a Facebook Fanpage to load faster?
Well, just make sure you upload the image of the exact dimension, i.e., 851 X 315. This way, you prevent Facebook from spending time on resizing your image every time. Also, make sure your Facebook cover size is less than 100 KB in JPG format.
What if I have a logo in my Facebook Cover?
Well, if there is a log, it is highly recommended that you stick to the same dimensions but use the PNG file format. If your file size is within wwithin100 KB, you have hit the nail on the head; if not, let it not slip beyond too much.
I had written this article about some of the most creative Facebook Covers of all time, and you can use it as an inspiration for your Facebook cover.
Use Google Search to get Facebook Cove.rs.
You can use the Google Image search to search for Facebook Covers as well. Just pin the exact dimension in Google Image search, and you will get tons of cool Facebook Covers..
